If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, LDV requires a minimum 24-hour cancellation notice from the first day of service to issue a refund (less fees). If you have received our weekly special (purchased five days of service and receive the sixth day free) and you cancel one day, there is no refund as that will be considered the free day. Please note that the weekly special is not offered at all locations or at all times of the year. The window for cancellation with a refund closes at 5:00PM CST the day before the reservation. For all cancellations, please contact our reservations department. Cancellations done on site with a beach attendant are not guaranteed a refund. Beach Service: Single Item Orders
For most locations, single item orders (anything less than a full set or full big set (i.e. one chair or two umbrellas only) do not receive our seating structure placement options (premium, plus, or standard) and/or do not get set up in advance until the customer checks-in with the attendant(s) at the large, red or blue umbrella or white beach hut.
Beach Service: Placement Requests
LDV will do its best to honor all spot placement requests to the best of our ability, however, we cannot make a 100% guarantee of placement. LDV will guarantee you will have a spot in your purchased seating section (if applicable), but cannot guarantee a specific location (i.e. on the end, in the middle, etc.)
Some locations are first-come-first-served for spot placement, meaning that LDV cannot take or guarantee any spot placement requests. At these locations, advanced beach service reservations do not receive priority; the attendant(s) will have your reservation, but you must check-in with the attendant(s) each day to beach set up (unless otherwise stated by the attendant(s) on your first day of service). Although typical beach service hours begin at 9:00AM CST, depending on when the attendant(s) finish setting up, they might be able to start assisting before then (no guarantee) and the line at the hut/umbrella will start forming early.
Beach Service: SWBSA Public Beach Access Locations
All orders that are placed at a Walton County public beach access are managed through the South Walton Beach Service Association (SWBSA). All orders are set up on a first-come-first-served basis once the customer has checked in with the SWBSA attendant. The customer must provide the last name on the order and/or the order number to the attendant. The attendant will then set up the order anywhere within the public beach area where there is available space. The order’s placement cannot be reserved or requested in advance and will not be tagged. Per Walton County ordinance, unoccupied vendor equipment is not permitted, therefore, once the equipment has been unoccupied for about 30-minutes or more the attendant is required to take down and remove the items. If the customer chooses to have the order set back up within the hours of operation, they must check back in with the SWBSA attendant. Please note that these are the county rules. LDV is not affiliated with the operation of SWBSA nor its employees. If an attendant is unavailable at the time of check-in or the order is delayed for any reason, there are no refunds required on LDV’s part.
If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, all cancellations must take place no later than 2:00PM CST on the scheduled date of the bonfire to receive a refund less the $105 standard permit fee and booking fee. If you will have 30 or more attendees or plan on having the event catered, you must obtain a special event permit which is an additional fee. If you purchased a special event permit, they are non-refundable and non-transferable. No same day refunds will be offered dur to the red tide conditions. In the event strong weather conditions arise and call for unsafe bonfire conditions, Walton County/South Walton Fire Department might suspend bonfires for that evening. If this occurs, the bonfire permit fee is non-refundable unless otherwise state by Walton County/South Walton Fire Department. If you will be late to your bonfire, meaning you will not be showing up at your scheduled start time, you must inform LDV so that we can plan accordingly and no additional time will be added. If an hour has passed since your scheduled start time and you have not contacted our team, the bonfire attendant will try to reach out to you via the provided phone number listed on the reservation and if contact is not made, the attendant will begin to break down the bonfire. If we are not informed in advance and our attendant cannot reach you during your allotted time, no refunds will be offered for an early breakdown. Bonfires: Weather Rescheduling
If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum 24-hour cancellation notice from the first day of service to be refunded, less fees. The window for cancellation with a refund closes at 5:00 PM CST the day before the requested cancellation date; we do not offer same day cancellations with a refund. All cancellations will be charged the minimum two day rental plus any further applicable rental days. If you will need to switch the bicycle for a different size and the size needed is no available on property, there is a $25+tax service fee. The service fee is also applicable at our hut locations when the size requested is not available on property. LDV is not responsible for any missing, stolen, or lost bicycles/accessories, that is the responsibility of the lessee. Golf Carts: Citations
Some communities have very strict golf cart policies, so please make sure to follow their guidelines and only park in designated parking areas. Illegal golf cart parking a common issue. During the rental period if you receive a parking citation and/or a driving violation that is charged to LDV, you will be responsible for the cost of the violation per the legal golf cart rental agreement that will be completed prior to the rental. Sometimes these violations are cited post violation, therefore, if the ticket is provided to LDV after the golf cart was moved and you are unaware of the citation, you will be responsible for the cost. LDV will do its best to contact you within a timely manner (90 days) to resolve the citation/violation and payment is required at the time of the call. LDV is not responsible for any tickets, citations, or traffic violations received.

Pontoon Boats
If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum 48 hour cancelation notice from the day of service to issue a refund (less fees). There are no same day cancellations. We do not issue weather-related refunds, once you leave the dock on any equipment it is your rental for the allotted time you have reserved. No boats under any condition are allowed in the East Pass or Gulf of Mexico for any reason. If you enter these restricted areas with your rental will be terminated immediately with no refunds. All boats are a maximum of 12 people. Infants, toddlers and children must be included in your total number of guest on the boat. Pets are allowed, however, there is a $25 deposit for each pet.
Double-Decker Pontoon Boats
Double Decker pontoons are only allowed to leave the Harbor and go to Crab Island nowhere else in the Choctawhatchee Bay. If you enter these restricted areas with your rental will be terminated immediately with no refunds
Jet Skis
If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum 24 hour cancellation notice from the day of service to issue a refund (less fees). There are no same day cancellations. We do not issue weather-related refunds, once you leave the dock on any equipment it is your rental for the allotted time you have reserved. No jet skis under any condition are allowed in the East Pass or Gulf of Mexico for any reason. If you enter these restricted areas your rental will be terminated immediately with no refunds. All jet skis are a maximum of 2 people with a maximum weight of 400lbs combined. All drivers must be 18 with a valid drivers license and must have their drivers license on the equipment with them at all times. Any drivers born in January 1st, 1988 or after must also have a boaters license on board the vessel along with their drivers license. Children aboard must be at least 6yrs old and up to ride the jet ski.
