Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, LDV requires a minimum 24-hour cancellation notice from the first day of service to issue a refund (less fees.) If you have received our weekly special (purchased 5 days of service and receive the 6th day free) and you cancel one day, there is no refund as that will be considered the free day. Please note that the weekly special is not offered at all locations or at all times of the year. The window for cancellations with a refund closes at 5:00PM CST the day before the reservation. For all cancellations, please contact our reservations department; cancellations done on site are not guaranteed a refund and you must speak to a member of the reservations team, you cannot leave a voicemail.

Same Day Cancellations: LDV does not offer same day cancellations or refunds.


Single Item Orders

For most locations, single item orders (i.e. one chair only, one umbrella only, or anything less than a single set of one umbrella and two chairs) do not get placed on the front row and/or do not get set up in advance until the customer checks-in with the attendant.


Tide Line

If the tide rises or recedes and you wish to have the umbrellas moved, please do not attempt to move the umbrellas. Please see the attendant on site or contact LDV to receive assistance, if available. There is no guarantee umbrellas can be moved for the remainder of the day.


Weather Issues

LDV does not issue weather related refunds. If weather is a concern, it is the customer’s responsibility to cancel prior to the reservation start date. This also applies to impending tropical storms or hurricanes for there is not an automatic refund for services not available for these instances.

LDV reserves the right to delay beach service set up or to break-down beach service early due to inclement weather.

Bonfires & Inclement Weather:

  • You must make the decision to reschedule at least 2 hours before the bonfire occurs.
  • There will be a $55 re-permitting fee as these permits are only valid for the assigned day they are pulled.

Beach Service

If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum 24 hour cancellation notice from the first day of service to issue a refund (less fees). We do not issue weather-related refunds, and there are no same day cancellations. Hours of operation for beach service are 9:00am – 5:00pm CST, unless otherwise stated at a specific location. LDV will do its best to honor all requests to the best of our ability, but we can not make a guarantee of placement. LDV will guarantee you will have a spot, but can not guarantee a specific location.

**No same day refunds for RED TIDE**

Umbrella Policy: LDV reserves the right to close and/or remove umbrellas if weather or wind conditions are unfavorable for safety reasons. There is no compensation if umbrellas are unavailable. If you are at a location where there is no attendant on site (i.e. private beachfront home, public access, etc.,) please close the umbrellas with inclement weather or when done with the service for the day to avoid potential bodily harm to yourself or others, or loss of or damage to equipment.

Breakdown: At most locations, beach service break-down will begin between 3:30PM – 4:00PM. Unoccupied sets at this time may be taken down for the day with no guarantee of getting set back up. If planning to return between 3:30PM – 5:00PM, please communicate to the beach attendant on site.


Bike Rentals

If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum 24-hour cancellation notice from the first day of service to be refunded, less fees. We do not offer any refunds after the 24-hour cancellation timeframe is over, including same day cancellations. Any bicycle changes and/or swaps after the bicycle has been delivered will have a $25+tax service fee charged. There is not a guaranteed time of delivery on your scheduled delivery date, for our attendant has until 8:00PM to make all scheduled deliveries. LDV is not responsible for any missing, stolen, or lost bicycles, that is the responsibility of the renter.


Placement Requests

LDV will do its best to honor all spot placement requests to the best of our ability, however, we can not make a 100% guarantee of placement. LDV will guarantee you will have a spot, but can not guarantee a specific location.


Golf Carts

Minimum age requirement to rent and operate a golf cart through LDV is 25.

If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum 24 hour cancellation notice to be refunded less fees. Same day cancellations will be charged the 2 day minimum plus delivery fee (If applicable). If you have any questions about these terms please feel free to contact a member of our team.

Usage Restrictions:

  • Cannot cross or be driven on Highway 98
  • se note that you cannot take the golf cart into Rosemary Beach, Seaside, Alys Beach, or Watercolor. You can drive it along Hwy 30A, but you cannot park or take the golf cart into these communities and their security strictly enforces this. La Dolce Vita is not responsible for any violations received.

Pontoon Boats

If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum 48 hour cancelation notice from the day of service to issue a refund (less fees). There are no same day cancellations. We do not issue weather-related refunds, once you leave the dock on any equipment it is your rental for the allotted time you have reserved. No boats under any condition are allowed in the East Pass or Gulf of Mexico for any reason. If you enter these restricted areas with your rental will be terminated immediately with no refunds. All boats are a maximum of 12 people. Infants, toddlers and children must be included in your total number of guest on the boat. Pets are allowed, however, there is a $25 deposit for each pet.


Double-Decker Pontoon Boats

Thank you for your order with La Dolce Vita. If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum 48 hour cancellation notice from the day of service to issue a refund (less fees). There are no same day cancellations. We do not issue weather-related refunds, once you leave the dock on any equipment it is your rental for the allotted time you have reserved. No double decker pontoon boats under any condition are allowed in the East Pass or Gulf of Mexico for any reason. Double Decker pontoons are only allowed to leave the Harbor and go to Crab Island nowhere else in the Choctawhatchee Bay. If you enter these restricted areas with your rental will be terminated immediately with no refunds. All boats are a maximum of 12 people. Infants, toddlers and children must be included in your total number of guest on the boat. Pets are allowed, however, there is a $25 deposit for each pet. We look forward to serving you!


Jet Skis

If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum 24 hour cancellation notice from the day of service to issue a refund (less fees). There are no same day cancellations. We do not issue weather-related refunds, once you leave the dock on any equipment it is your rental for the allotted time you have reserved. No jet skis under any condition are allowed in the East Pass or Gulf of Mexico for any reason. If you enter these restricted areas your rental will be terminated immediately with no refunds. All jet skis are a maximum of 2 people with a maximum weight of 400lbs combined. All drivers must be 18 with a valid drivers license and must have their drivers license on the equipment with them at all times. Any drivers born in January 1st, 1988 or after must also have a boaters license on board the vessel along with their drivers license. Children aboard must be at least 6yrs old and up to ride the jet ski.


Bonfire

If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum 24 hour cancellation notice to be refunded less fees. Same day cancellations will be charged the bonfire permit fee of $55. All cancellations for any reason must take place by 2PM on the scheduled day.

Weather Rescheduling:

Unfortunately sometimes the weather does take a turn for the worse, if this happens you can certainly reschedule your bonfire with a few things to keep in mind.

  • You must make the decision to reschedule or cancel the bonfire by 2PM on the scheduled day.
  • There will be a $55 re-permitting fee for reschedules, as these permits are only valid for the assigned day they are pulled.
  • There will be no refunds for bonfires that can not be set up (for any reason) after the 2PM deadline.
